Some games being played (some didn’t complete) with brief review:

  • Terraria - Not bad

  • Torchlight II - OK

  • Stardew Valley - Not bad

  • Hollow Knight - Good

  • Scroll of Taiwu - The characters look not nice.

  • Prison Princess - Visual novel.

  • Dead Cells - Best!!

  • Chasm - OK

  • Death Gambit - Too dark

  • The Messenger - Very interesting!

  • Starbound - Nice soundtrack. But Slow in Linux wine.

  • Celeste - Hard to play, not my type

  • Slay the Spire - OK

  • Forager - Not bad

  • Hexologic - OK.

  • Wargroove - There is no big skill.

  • Domina - Good!

  • Yes, Your Grace! - Nice story. Needs to follow game guide to get the best ending.

  • Untitled Goose Game - Not my type

  • Merchant of the Skies - Not bad. But lack of AI and battle. It is more to puzzle. Crafting brick is difficult.

  • One Way Heroics Plus - Interesting rogue-like JRPG.

  • Kingdom: Two Crowns - It is tower defense genre. Be careful when assigning job to the hired men, they will just go to the side that is closest to them.

  • Coffee Talk - Visual novel. True ending is interesting.

  • Evoland I - It is special.

  • Katana Zero - Difficult game

  • Katana Kami - Super interesting

  • Wizard of Legend - Not bad

  • Magic Scroll Tactics - Good

  • Age of Civilization 2 - Okay. But the map is too big. To win the game, there is only war. Which is time consuming.

  • One Step from Eden - Okay

  • Sea Dogs: To Each His Own - Too difficult, as there is no map. I get lost easily.

  • Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics - The graphics and content much better than One Way Heroics Plus

  • Omega Labyrinth Life - 😎

  • Children of Morta - Not bad.

  • Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Not bad.

  • Phantom Brave - Very good.

  • Heroes of Hammerwatch - Cheat for stress relief

  • Hades - Not bad. Hack with Lua script editing

  • Europa Universalis IV - Just found that Age of Civilization 2 is a clone of this.

  • Tale of Immortal 鬼谷八荒 - System similar to Scroll of Taiwu, but drawings are much more interesting

  • Loop Hero - Each round of fight takes too long. I slept.

  • Sands of Salzaar 部落与弯刀 - Very good, it contains Dai Koukai Jidai (Uncharted Waters) features.

  • Octopath Traveler - Boring in general, but the true ending is wonderful

  • Getsu Fuma Den: Undying Moon. Currently Early Access. I played Getsu Fuma Den in NES when I was a child. That’s amazing game. Undying Moon gameplay is similar to Dead Cells.

  • Amazing Cultivation Simulator 了不起的修仙模拟器 - Very interesting, but hard to play. Just cheat with mod in order to make my life easier.

  • Into the Breach - Not bad.

  • Path of Wuxia 侠之道 - 养成类游戏。现在很少看到这类游戏了。Very interesting.

  • Shiren the Wanderer - Ported game. No much comment.

  • 觅长生 - Currently Early Access. However, it is much fun comparing to 鬼谷八荒.

  • Wytchwood - Easy to edit save file. But it is still tiresome.

  • Warm Snow 暖雪 - Similar to Hades. Not bad.

  • Startup Panic - Not bad, as the idea of the game story is quite interesting. Though I failed to trigger the final event.

  • Tangledeep - Though the gameplay is quite nice, but I slept every time I play.

  • 风信楼 - 满分！

  • Noita - I thought it is just a clone of Terraria. But it isn’t. However, it is not my type.

  • Let’s Build a Zoo - Quite interesting, but the UX is not good, IMO. Cannot save anytime, cannot select dead animal easily. And I need to keep build entertaining items for the animals.

  • Banner of the Maid - Gameplay not bad, but it is slow to wait the turns. The illustration is great.

  • Some Some Convenience Store - Best x100!!! But do not play the route you like most at the end, else you will get post-game depression.

  • Miracle Snack Shop - If you like Some Some, then you will like this!

  • Danganronpa (1, 2, V3) - Super good!!!

  • Idol Manager - Still okay.

  • Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - Old style metroidvania genre, not my favour.

  • Record of Lodoss War-Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth- - Another metroidvania game

  • The Hundred Year Kingdom - Leisure game

  • Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls - Difficult to read the map.

  • Vambrace Soul - Didn’t finish the game. Not able to save any time. To get the true ending, need to make the choice carefully.

  • Raging Loop - Visual novel, with interesting story

  • Library of Ruina - Nice story, but difficult to play.

  • Lobotomy Corp - Super difficult to play. Prequel of Library of Ruina. If want to see the true ending, just search from YouTube

  • Animal Well - Not bad, but really not my type.

  • 活侠传 - 超好玩的！
